Wilton Manors is home to a considerable LGBTQ population and has become a destination for LGBTQ tourists and residents. The city is bordered by the North Fork and South Fork of the Middle River, and locals sometimes refer to it as the “Island City.” Residents need only travel a few minutes east to reach the ocean shore. 
The city is primarily residential with a blend of natural outdoor spaces and shopping and dining options, providing residents with everything they need without leaving the city. Wilton Drive is lined with unique shops and restaurants showcasing Florida Pride. Wilton Manors also hosts several festivals and celebrations throughout the year to encourage the formation of strong bonds between residents and business owners.

Ethos Greek Bistro is a contemporary restaurant serving authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. It is known as the tiniest and cutest restaurant in Florida. They are dedicated to serving fresh, healthy food through an exciting selection of modernized Greek dishes. Ethos also offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, so there is something for everyone. 
Le Patio is a warm and charming cafe famous for its French onion soup. Guests are instantly relaxed when they walk in the door and are spoiled by Le Patio’s memorable meals, flavors, and pairings. 
What’s better after a fantastic dinner than a delicious candy treat? To The Moon Marketplace is your one-stop shop for all your confectionery needs. This old-time market offers bulk candy, over 100 types of chocolate, hard-to-find candy and snacks, and gourmet treats from around the world.
There are plenty of bars and clubs in Wilton Manors to keep residents entertained all night. Infinity Lounge is a casual, sophisticated cocktail lounge in downtown Wilton Manors. They offer classic martinis and cocktails with a twist and an intimate atmosphere for guests to relax and catch up with friends.
Wilton Manors has many shopping opportunities to explore without leaving the city. Shoppes of Wilton Manor and Five Points Plaza have several mainstream shopping centers, specialty shops, and clothing boutiques. Wilton Drive is another bustling shopping district in downtown Wilton Manors. Here, residents can find furniture stores, antique shops, and thrift stores.

Things to Do

Wilton Manors is a haven for the LGBTQ community. Each June, the Stonewall Pride Parade & Festival attracts nearly 40,00 spectators around Wilton Manors and Florida. This festival celebrates the historic Stonewall Riots and the LGBTQ+ human rights movement and how it has shaped history. The celebration features a parade with floats, drag queens, and thousands of proud residents. The procession leads right into the festival, where guests can enjoy a day of family-friendly fun with games, live music, and great food.
During the Halloween season, Wilton Manors becomes Wicked Manors in their “Turn Back Time” festival. This weekend-long celebration starts with a family-friendly trick-or-treat event down Wilton Drive. Then, there are live showings of classic Halloween movies such as “Hocus Pocus” and “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Wicked Manors hosts a spooky-themed pool party with VIP seating, complimentary drinks, and gift bags.
